I'm in my 6th semester of a Bachelor of Computer Applications at Ratna Rajya Laxmi College, Nepal. I design and code database-driven web applications, from planning and diagrams to a working login-to-booking flow.

About me

I'm a computer applications student who likes turning a rough idea into a system that works end to end. For my Project II, I chose a problem I could model with real data and a real algorithm: helping people share rides.

I plan before I code. That means requirements, process and data diagrams, and a database design, followed by building the system one working piece at a time.

I'm also learning Python, starting with small automation projects.

Carpool Matching System

A web application that connects drivers with passengers heading the same way. A passenger's request is matched to a driver when the pickup point lies within about 500 m of the driver's route, and drivers can change their route after posting it.

  • One shared login for passengers, drivers and admins, with a registration page.
  • Route-proximity matching algorithm that decides which passengers can book a ride.
  • Driver route changes, with matches updated to follow.
  • Passenger dashboard, driver dashboard and admin dashboard.
  • Complete journey from registering to booking a ride.
